Tagliatelle with creamy lemon vodka sauce

Tagliatelle with lemon vodka sauce is a great pasta recipe if you are looking for a change and an original taste. Make sure to use fresh pasta to enjoy fully this recipe.

 

Ingredients:

  • 200 g fresh tagliatelle
  • 1 lemon
  • 30 g butter
  • 10 cl cream
  • 5 cl vodka
  • 1 garlic clove
  • tarragon
  • salt, pepper

 

Preparation:

In a small pot, bring a little bit of water to boil. Grate lemon zest and cut it very thin. Add zest to the boiling water for 1 minute then drain.

Bring a large pot of water to boil for the pasta.

In a skillet on low heat, melt butter with lemon zest and garlic for about 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and vodka to the butter and cook on medium heat until the liquid has reduced by half.

Cook your pasta as written on the package. Drain it.

Add cream to the skillet, along with tarragon, salt and pepper. Stir well and cook for 1 minute before to add the pasta.

Serve immediately.

 

Tips: Next time I will add some white fish chunks for a try!
