Chocolate Rum and Strawberry muffins

Cocoa, rum and strawberry are such a great combination! I had some homemade strawberry jam I wanted to use and it has been a delicious experiment, also approved by a few people around me! 🙂 Perfect for tea time!

Chocolate Rum and strawberry muffins

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of flour
  • 90 g of sugar
  • 4 spoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 cl of milk
  • 5 cl of rum
  • 1 egg
  • strawberry jam

 

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 180°C.

In a jar, add flour, cocoa, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix.

Add butter in small pieces and knead directly with your hands.

Add the egg, milk and rum and mix again with a wooden spoon.

Fill each muffin cup about 1/3 full, add 2 teaspoons of strawberry jam then cover with the rest of the muffin dough.

Bake for 15 minutes in the oven and that’s it!
